My New Lake-Front House!

Wow, that sounds weird! :)
So Erika came back down this weekend just to get out of the cold in TN. We decided to drive around the area we were planning on living just to see how much rental houses were going for in the area. When we came up on a house we just couldn’t resist.
It was built in 1999 and is a super cute lake-front house with 3 bed and 2 bath. (No, it is not a built-in trailer :)
It’s even got a HUGE back deck (just check out the pics!).
We paid the deposit last night and Erika moves in at the first of May, I’ll be trailing behind and moving in mid-June unless I can find someone to take over my current lease. But it’s great, we have enough rooms for me to have a study and a teaching room which will fit her grand piano.
And the backyard has a nice high fence so Erika’s dog, Venus, can come too. As a note, the pool is going away before we move in. We didn't want to maintain it.

We even have a nice little boat to go out on the lake with that our landlords are leaving there.

Check it out!!! Click to enlarge the pics.

One of the Best...

Well, this was by FAR one of the best spring breaks ever. To top off the great week last week, we had an awesome time at Disney’s Animal Kingdom yesterday then went today to Universal Studios and bought annual passes. For the Monday after spring break, there were little lines and I was even able to ride front row on the Hulk Coaster after a short 25 minute wait. It was AWSOME! And Universal’s new ‘Mummy Returns’ coaster was ridden twice. It was really cool too but still doesn’t stand up to the big coasters at Universal’s Islands of Adventures like Hulk.
Well, I guess I need to get to work to make up for the grand I easily dropped this week between my annual passes, plane ticket home, and the dinners at nice restaurants every day.
I also mentioned previously that I was going to go see Pat Bennetar on June 10th... well, that seemed so far away to me. In just 3 weeks, I'm going to see HEART at Universal! Man, I love the 80s!

So erika's leaving tomorrow and I've got to get back to my long hours at school. So my break's over. Hope I didn't spoil myself with all of this sleep.
But it was a great break and I hope that each of my breaks from school are as exciting. FL is soooo cool! However, it's to get COLD this weekend. Like the lows are in the mid-50s. Miserable! I don't know how I ever lived in TN with all the cold weather :)

Oh, and we got our next assignment for my game in DMD and our game will be Family Guy. I’ll post more soon.

March Update

Sorry for the delay in my posts. I tried really hard to get a nice small demo video of my game that I did with Lockheed Martin but it just isn’t small enough. It’s by far my most impressive. Anyhow… I did get a video of the other game I just did. It looks a lot more simple but was in fact a lot harder programmatically. You can download the video HERE.

A LOT has been going on. My trip back to Chatty went well and thank you to all of you who came out to see me. I had a very good time. Since I’ve been back I have really been relaxing with Erika. She’ll be here through Monday.
I hiked for 5 miles on Tuesday then relaxed the following day. Yesturday we went to DisneyQuest which is a HUGE arcade and it was awesome. I bought a season pass so I plan on making a few more trips back.
Today I have to catch up on my work as well as tomorrow cause Sunday we are going to Disney’s Animal Kingdom so I am very excited about that.
I also bought a ticket to the Cirque Du Soleil Delirium show which is coming to Orlando in late April. It’s supposed to be the largest arena performance in history and I’m sure will be f’n awesome. Some friends from school and I got tickets which are front row in the lower section so we should have great seats. And speaking of performaces, I’m going to see Pat Bennetar on June 10th! At this little place called the House Of Blues at Disney world. So got lots of stuff to look forward to in the coming months.

I should be back in Chattanooga around the first week of May when my semester ends. So I look forward to seeing you all then.
